Hello From Stups

Hi, in case you don't know who I am, and if you
don't what you doing here ?

I am professional golfer Karen Stupples.                     I was born in Dover, Kent, England.
Kent is known as the garden of England because
it is so beautiful. 

I started caddying for my dad as a child and
thought I fancy having a go at this and fell in
love with golf straight away and I still love it to
this day.

As a young girl, well younger than I am now,
I played for England juniors and seniors
before representing GB&I in the winning Curtis
Cup side in 1996, was also in the losing side of
1998 but we wont talk about that :-)

When I 1st came to America to study at 
Arkansas before transferring to Florida State
 and to this day
I am a fiercely proud NOLE.

I turned pro after the 1998 US Womans amateur.

In 2004 I won my first major, the Womans
British Open at Sunningdale, I say my first
because I am going to win another :-)

As with the Curtis Cup I have played in both
a winning and losing Solheim Cup, but being
part of the winning team in 2011 was a highlight
of  my career.   

 Life Outside Golf

My gorgeous son, Logan, is a full time job by himself.
He is very much his mothers son and wants to
do everything at warp factor 10. 

What might surprise many of you is that I love
to bake and cook :-) Quite the domestic goddess I
will have you know :-)

And painting, I love to paint. Not artist painting but decorating, I genuinely love it.

When time, and Logan, allow it I love catching up with Eastenders and Coronation Street, that's the brilliant thing about the internet, it lets me catch
up with British TV :-)

I love football (soccer for those in US) and am a big Arsenal fan, blame my dad for that.

As you can see from the picture I am also a huge Tampa Bay fan in NFL and of course I love my NOLES in CFB.
